The Frankfurt police confirmed to the dpa that there were knife wounds in Grüneburgpark.
According to the report, the homicide squad has started the investigation.
Two 18-year-olds are in the hospital with serious stab and cut injuries.

According to a spokesman, there is "no concrete suspicion" and no arrests have been made.

Frankfurt – In the Grüneburgpark in Frankfurt there was a large police operation in the night from Friday to Saturday (May 14).
This was confirmed by a police spokesman when asked by this newspaper.
The background is severe stab and cut injuries that two 18-year-olds suffered there late on Friday evening (May 13).
The Frankfurt criminal police are investigating a suspected crime.
Traces were secured around the crime scene in Grüneburgpark.
What exactly happened there has not yet been finally clarified, the police headquarters said.
The FAZ, which first reported on the case, wrote of a "stabbing" citing eyewitnesses.

Around 10:30 p.m. the “incident” occurred in which two young people were seriously injured, according to a police spokesman.

Witnesses told the FAZ that there had been an altercation involving a group that was not originally part of the revelers.
A knife was pulled and the young people were "stabbed".
After that, those responsible fled.
While the young men were taken to the hospital, investigators began their work.
According to the FAZ, the police blocked the entrances to the park and searched them.
Nobody was let through.
Officially, the Frankfurt police initially only confirmed "wide-spread barriers" at the scene of the crime, but not a complete closure, as fnp.de reports.

"Out of consideration for the ongoing investigations," they initially did not want to provide any further information about the crime, it said.
A police spokesman did not comment on a suspected use of a knife.
Witnesses are still being spoken to.
According to the FAZ report, the investigative authorities are also checking whether the crime could be related to his series of robberies in Grüneburgpark, after which a youth gang was recently arrested.
