Chen Rijun also talked about his happiest and unforgettable experience in the past decades of work, when he was the principal of Macau Salesian Middle School in the 1970s and the dean of Aberdeen Technical School from 1986 to 1989. "There are so many things to learn, (some people) will forget what to do, the most important thing is to learn to be a person, to be a person of integrity."

He believes that there are many different goals in life. Some people want to be a doctor, a barrister, or a big boss. "The world is very chaotic. Some people pursue other things. They want money, wealth, and power." It doesn't matter if you are a person, no matter whether life is short or long, you must learn to understand the truth of being a human being, and be a person with justice and love in your heart, which is the purpose of life.
