In contrast to other municipalities in the district, Olching reports a relaxed situation in the allocation of daycare places.
Olching - All kindergarten children and crèche children who have a legal claim will probably be accommodated according to the current status.
A separate group for Ukrainian refugee children is also planned.
No claim
The current figures were presented to the members of the Education and Social Committee on Thursday evening.
There were 280 registrations for the kindergarten, and 269 parents were accepted.
Eleven children remain without a place.
According to the clerk responsible, ten of these have no legal entitlement because, for example, they are under three years old or guest children.
A child came late and will probably find accommodation.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)
15 refugee children from Ukraine were also registered.
It is planned to place Ukrainian children in their own group with appropriate care.
In other words: in the mother tongue.
This is possible because an after-school care group has become available in the Rappelkiste through the open all-day school in Graßlfing.
More kindergarten places are to be added when the "Kunterbunt" (probably in July/August) has been renovated and Noah's Arche has moved to Münchner Straße.
Very well
The situation in Olching is rated as "very, very good".
Since things are clearly different in the surrounding communities like Gröbenzell, applications are already coming in from there.
But: These only come into play when all Olchinger children are housed.
Just for comparison: the neighboring municipality of Gröbenzell was unable to fill 122 childcare places.
Roughly half cannot be awarded due to the striking lack of staff.
According to Magg, the personnel situation in Olching is currently stable, both in the municipal institutions and in the free organizations.
"Of course we hope that it stays that way."
Much praise
This is how it is at the crèche: 150 children were registered.
123 commitments were distributed, 27 children have no place, here too, according to the administration, the majority have no legal entitlement because they are still under one year old.
Mayor Andreas Magg (SPD) distributed a lot of praise.
"It's gratifying that our efforts over the past few years are paying off again." This is thanks to the great commitment of those involved, such as the day-care center managers and the administration in the town hall.
"A great achievement," said Magg.

The demand is increasing and it is difficult to find staff.
Here the city is working together with the carrier, the social service in Olching, on solutions.
