Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria, considering them a flagrant violation of all international laws and resolutions.
Khatibzadeh said in a press statement today that "the international community's ignoring and public silence, in addition to the American support, made this usurper entity persist in its aggression, arrogance, and violations of international laws and resolutions, while continuing to occupy the lands of the Syrian Golan and violating the Syrian lands."
Khatibzadeh pointed out that “the planes of the Israeli entity play the role of the air tool for the terrorist groups present in Syria, especially in recent years... Whenever the Syrian army and the forces allied with it defeat these groups, the entity’s planes have intervened and carried out their attacks on Syrian territory,” including what happened recently with the Israeli aggression against south of Damascus, which resulted in many martyrs.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed the need for an appropriate and decisive response to these attacks, whether on the ground or in international forums.
