Poetry evening in celebration of the martyrs of Al-Adawi culture

Damascus, SANA- In celebration of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army and their sacrifices, a poetry evening was held under the title “The Martyrs are the Legend of a Homeland.”

Celebrating the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army and their sacrifices A poetry evening was held for a group of poets, entitled Martyrs, Legend of a Nation, on the occasion of Martyrs' Day.

The poems of the poets participating in the evening hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi sang about the heroism and victories of the army and the sacrifices of the martyrs in poems, most of which took the vertical form of the Arabic poem, in addition to some of the zajali poems that touched the hearts of the audience by glorifying our righteous martyrs.

Poet Bilal Ahmed participated in the evening, which was moderated by Dr. Osama Hammoud, with a zajli poem he gave to the martyrs of Masyaf who rose recently, in addition to a vertical poem in which he sang the sacrifices of the martyrs by saying: “As for the martyr, his newness does not end. To end at sunset as a martyr.”

The poet Dr. Jaber Salman participated in a vertical poem entitled The Monument of Eternity, in which he sang about martyrdom and the great giving he gives to the soil of the homeland, in which he said: “Focus on the edifice of eternity, eternity. The poet Lina Al-Mufleh also participated in a set of vertical texts that carried emotional and patriotic concern, in addition to her singing in Damascus, the capital of the homeland, glory and heroism, in her saying: “Longing pulls you, or does insomnia keep you away… My metaphysics, so your visions and stares are not fair. Whatever makes you suffocate, we suffocate.”

The participation of the poet Muzahim al-Kab’ came with a poem in which he spoke about the heroism of the martyrs, their qualities, and the great glories that they achieve by receiving the honor of martyrdom, in which he said: “They license their lives and their blood... in order to fill this sky with stars.”

Jassim Muhammad participated in prose texts that talked about Syria, the land of fertility and beauty, in addition to another text of the martyr and the occupied Syrian Arab Golan.
