The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported last night (Thursday) that he was killed and injured in an "industrial accident" at a factory in Perchin, near Tehran.
Apparently this is a military factory.
This report comes a few days after the assassination of a senior Revolutionary Guards officer in the heart of Tehran, who according to a US publication Israel has confirmed that she is responsible for.
Last night, the New York Times reported that Israel had informed the United States that it was responsible for the assassination of Hassan Siad Khodai, a senior officer in the Iranian army, on Sunday this week.
Following the publication, officials in the defense establishment criticized the conduct of the Americans, saying that "such publication endangers Israel."
"Professional factors have been updated as part of labor relations on the assassination of the senior Iranian official," Israeli officials said.
"The Americans are behind the publication in the New York Times, it is a serious and worrying process, and it should not happen. Such advertising endangers Israel, it must not happen. Similar messages have been conveyed to the Americans."

Hodai was involved in terrorist acts against Israeli targets in Africa and South America.
After the incident, the Revolutionary Guards said that it was a "criminal terrorist act by elements who oppose the revolution and are connected to global arrogance."
At the senior officer's funeral held yesterday, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi warned Israel in response to the deed.
"The thugs and terrorist groups associated with global oppressive Zionism will face the consequences of their actions."
