First accident in the Oberau tunnel - cyclist seriously injured at the opening ceremony

Immediately after the start of the citizens' festival for the opening of the tunnel in Oberau, the rescue service was called upon.

The tunnel in Oberau was not even open to traffic before the first accident happened.
A woman from Weilheim (60), who explored the tubes at the citizen festival on her bike, overlooked another cyclist when changing lanes, a 61-year-old from the Loisachtal.
There was a collision.
The woman who caused the accident suffered serious injuries, which were treated in the Murnau accident clinic.
Thousands of citizens were out and about on Thursday to see the new Oberau bypass on foot or by bike.
