Minister of Industry Ziad Sabbagh discussed with the advisor of the Iranian First Vice President and the Iranian economic representative in Damascus Abbas Akbari in Aleppo today ways to activate industrial and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides agreed to identify common points of connection for the industrial sector in the two countries to discuss establishing projects of economic feasibility.
Minister Sabbagh stressed the importance of economic relations with Iran, pointing to the importance of continuous coordination between the two countries to win the economic battle and overcome the unjust sanctions that affect the countries of resistance and opposition.
He added that there are many companies that have been damaged as a result of terrorism and have been devastated and devastated. They have been put up for investment, and a kind of partnership can be established with the Iranian side to rehabilitate, restore and return them to production.
In turn, the advisor to the Iranian First Vice President reiterated his country's support for Syria and its assistance in confronting the economic war imposed on it, stressing the depth of the ties between the two friendly countries, which are based on their deep-rooted historical relations.
He pointed out that Iran has made qualitative leaps, especially in the field of technological industries, despite the sanctions, through self-reliance in the field of manufacturing, indicating that there is coordination and joint efforts being made to confront the economic sanctions targeting the two countries.
