Before entering the examination hall in the health center of the Martyr Hashem Youssef School, a SANA reporter interviewed a number of them. The wounded Youssef Ali Hammoud, 25, who was shot and paralyzed by a quadrilateral, confirmed his insistence on obtaining a secondary certificate after he obtained a basic education certificate last year.

The wounded Majd Mazhar Rahal, who lost his lower extremities in the Sukhna area, showed that he is taking exams with a will and determination to succeed in order to enroll in the Faculty of Law to contribute to building his country with his knowledge and work, as well as his body.

The injury to the wounded Ramadan Muhammad al-Bawdi, 43, did not cause him to lose his eyesight completely, but rather motivated him to take the exam and continue his educational attainment, noting the Wounded Home Project for the support and empowerment it provides to the wounded.

“My injury did not discourage me,” said the wounded Muhammad Ali Qamohi, who, despite losing his total eyesight, aspires to obtain a high school diploma and join the music institute he has always dreamed of.

Ghinwa Abd al-Rahim, director of the Wounded Home Project in Tartous, indicated to SANA reporter that the project has provided reinforcement lessons and teaching institutes for the wounded, whose health condition allows them to attend, since the beginning of the school year. All the requirements of the educational process have been prepared, and interactive workshops and assessment sessions have been organized to prepare the wounded in the pre-exam period and secure their transportation. to and from the centre.

The director of the center, Muhammad Khalouf, indicated that the number of wounded applicants for the general exams for basic and secondary education reached 52, including 23 applicants with a basic education certificate and 29 applicants for secondary education, stressing that the center is fully equipped by the Tartous Health Department by providing an equipped ambulance, a doctor and a nursing staff in the event of any accident. .

The Director of Education in Tartous, Ali Shahoud, confirmed that the health center was equipped with all the requirements for the examination process and secured the induction or extrapolation according to the condition of each wounded person to perform their examination in an excellent and good manner, pointing out that this year witnessed the integration of people with disabilities with the wounded to take their exams, where the students were distributed according to their health conditions in order to achieve a distinct educational status.
