A trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.
The weather in Hong Kong today is forecast to be cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. The maximum temperature is about 29 degrees, and the winds are moderate to fresh and strong from the south to the southwest.

Looking ahead at the Observatory, there will be squally thunderstorms tomorrow, and the rain will be quite heavy at first.

The Transport Department stated that due to the landslide at Pak Tam Road, the entire route of Pak Tam Road (to and from) near Pak Tam Au is still closed, and the affected bus route KMB Route 94 has to be diverted.
