Al-Baath University in Homs announced this evening the results of the local university programming competition for its ninth season for 2022, which was held today with the participation of 64 teams of university students.
Sixteen teams qualified for the national championship for the university programming competition, which will be held on the 23rd of this month, and a group of teams will also qualify for the regional championship and then the world championship.
Dr. Elias Boutros, Vice President of Al-Baath University for Administrative and Student Affairs, stressed that the university software competition receives all care and attention as it is a competitive global educational program that contributes to raising the level of aspirations and performance of competitors in computer science and engineering.
Dr. Boutros indicated that Al-Baath University was the first incubator in the field of informatics, software and various technical systems, expressing his hope to achieve more distinguished results in the next stages of the competition at the national, regional and global levels.
