Tonight (Thursday), Defense Minister Bnei Gantz instructed the defense commissioner in the defense establishment to investigate the latest leaks from closed discussions in the defense establishment, as well as leaks from operational events.
An announcement issued on his behalf states that the leaks are being carried out "in a manner that violates the ambiguity policy of the State of Israel."
The demand for the investigation came, among other things, due to publications about disagreements between the head of the intelligence department, Major General Aharon Haliva, and the head of the Mossad, Dedi Barnea, regarding the nuclear project agreement;
The former supports the agreement and the latter opposes it.
In addition, a video was shown that was shown to Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi during a visit to Unit 8200 of the Intelligence Division, which shows an attack on a steel plant in Iran that was reportedly damaged following a cyber attack
. And MMA attacks (the battle between the wars) using accurate information.
All of this led the defense minister to instruct on the investigation of the leaks.
