For many tourists, Steingaden is synonymous with the Wieskirche.
The community of 3000 souls has much more to offer.
This should now be made known with a Steingaden experience app.

- "Steingaden - that's not just the Wieskirche," says Stephanie Schwarz, head of the Steingaden Tourist Office, in a nutshell.
"It means attractive destinations in abundance." This perception should change, it is important to raise awareness of the place - with the Steingaden experience app called "Locandy".
Steingaden's Mayor Max Bertl (CSU) explained during a site visit that the quiet Corona period was used to get a project off the ground that the town hall had been keen on for a long time.
"Now the time has come."
The information point is at the Welfenbrunnen
Right in the heart of the town, at the Welfenbrunnen on the market square, the app for the four “interactive theme worlds” can be scanned using a QR code and downloaded.
Visitors are taken to special places and learn exciting things about the history of the Steingaden monastery, the Brettleweg and, of course, the world-famous rococo church.

leads the visitor through the former monastery village and tells interesting facts about the history of the Welfenmünster and the former Steingaden monastery.
