HKTB's special edition of A Symphony of Lights will be postponed for two nights at 8pm tonight when Typhoon Siamba hits Hong Kong

The special edition of "A Symphony of Lights on the Hong Kong Light Show", which was originally scheduled to be staged for one month from the July 1 handover day, was delayed again and again due to the influence of Typhoon "Siamba".

As the "Siamba" gradually moves away, the Hong Kong Tourism Board announced that tonight's "Victoria Harbour Light Show" will premiere at 8:00 tonight as scheduled.

"Victory Harbour Light Show" is limited to screenings every night in July to celebrate the return of the motherland

The special edition of "A Symphony of Lights" is the HKTB's event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is held at 8pm every night throughout July, with more than 50 buildings and locations on both sides of the Victoria Harbour. They will jointly create a music and light show with the theme of "Hong Kong's New Journey".

Special lighting effects and elements such as building LED screens and curtain wall images were added to the event to provide viewers with a refreshing audio-visual enjoyment.

Over 50 buildings and locations participated

The HKTB said earlier that the "Visit Harbour Lights Show" will be held from July 1 to 31, every night from 8:00 to 8:10.

A total of more than 50 buildings and locations in Hong Kong participated, including 10 buildings and 3 new locations, including Central Piers 4 to 6, Legislative Council Complex, CITIC Building, Empire Centre, Great Eagle Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, Hong Kong Palace Museum, M+, Sanxiang Building, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, Ta Lung House, Wanchai Waterfront Water Sports and Recreation Theme Area and Wanchai Temporary Waterfront Garden.

The symphony was specially arranged for this performance, incorporating the lighting effects of the buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour and the LED screens and curtain walls of the 19 buildings to simultaneously display the congratulatory message of the 25th anniversary.

And many Star Ferry going from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central or Wan Chai, the hulls are decorated with colorful light strips, and they dance with the music during the show.
