The International Freedom of Religion Summit (IRF), where it presented the main damage that could be caused as a result of restrictions on the religious freedom of Jewish communities in Europe.

Levin of the National Coalition of Eurasian Jewry NCSEJ and Rabbi Aharon Kotler, former president of the Highwood High School in Lakewood.

Ms. Deborah Lipstadt, Special Envoy for the Surveillance and War on Anti-Semitism, and Mr. Aaron J. Kayak, Deputy Special Envoy for the Surveillance and War on Anti-Semitism at the US State Department.

During the meeting, the three stressed to the emissary that it was important for the US administration to focus on legislative issues currently on the agenda in Europe that endanger the religious freedom of Jewish communities across the continent, as well as the situation of Jews in Russia and Ukraine.

Ms. Goldschmidt and Mr. Levin also discussed these issues in a meeting with Congressman Christopher H. Smith and Senator Benjamin L. Cardin.

Count Goldschmidt said: 'Hopefully political support from the US will help us ensure that European Jews are allowed to live freely as Jews on the European continent and can maintain the Jewish way of life which also includes kosher slaughter and circumcision by law.

In order to live as Jews we must have the freedom to live according to our belief that is in real danger. The various parliaments in Europe have passed laws that harm the Jewish communities in their countries. Essential in the fabric of European society - the time has come for the deeds to reflect the words and the right to freely exercise his faith in Europe will be respected and enshrined in law.
