The leader of the Greek Socialist opposition party and MEP Nikos Androulakis filed a complaint on Tuesday July 26 with the Greek Supreme Court for “

Today (Tuesday) I filed a complaint with the Supreme Court prosecution because a few days ago I was informed by the European Parliament that there had been an attempt to trap my mobile by the software Predator surveillance
,” Nikos Androulakis told the media as he left the courthouse in Athens.
Member of the European Parliament, elected with the list of his Kinal-Pasok (socialist) party in 2014 and 2019, Nikos Androulakis has been leading this party since December after the death of its former leader Fofi Gennimata.

The European Parliament has created a special service to allow MEPs to check their telephone devices in the event of the presence of illegal surveillance software after the discovery of scandals with one of them, Pegasus, similar to Predator.
