A serious accident occurred in northern Bavaria.
A sports car driver went off the road due to aquaplaning and was seriously injured.
Scheßlitz – The start of the holiday season in Bavaria caused a lot of traffic and congestion on the autobahns, while intermittent rain also made driving conditions more difficult.
On Friday evening, July 29, the wet motorway in particular was fatal to the driver of a sports car.
His BMW i8 Coupe skidded due to aquaplaning and came off the road.
Aquaplaning accident: driver seriously injured in Bavaria
Numerous accidents occurred on the last weekend in July.
Three motorcyclists lost their lives, a BMW was literally shredded near Augsburg - the two occupants were killed immediately.
In the direction of Bamberg, the driver's sports car skidded on the A70 due to aquaplaning - apparently he was traveling too fast - at least for the weather conditions.
The car touched another Fiat 500, in which two people were sitting, and crashed into the guardrail.
