Another battle waged by the young wounded homeland, Ali Muhammad Al-Ghazali, from the Daraa governorate, added to his first battle against terrorism, is the battle of self-affirmation and the ability to challenge.
Al-Watan Al-Ghazali was seriously injured in 2014, which made him lose sight, which became a motive and incentive for him to pursue his educational attainment and join the ranks of students within the Department of Sociology.
Al-Ghazali, a first-year student in the Department of Sociology at the Damascus University branch in Daraa, said in his speech to the SANA Youth Bulletin: “I suffered an injury that made me blind and did not lose my insight, as the unlimited support from the Wounded Home project was the biggest motivation to continue the path of science and knowledge at the university.”
He added: The Wounded Home project helped me by providing full support and staffing a teaching staff to take my hand towards completing my educational attainment. The determination and persistence led me to excel and get first place in the General Secondary Certificate for the category of persons with disabilities, where obtaining the secondary certificate was the starting point to complete my scientific career within the Department of Science. University meeting.
Al-Ghazali concluded his speech by saying: “The injury and the pain did not prevent me from continuing the journey of struggle to achieve the ambition, but rather it was a motivator and motivator to continue and stay and set an example for my wounded colleagues.”
