The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Ukrainian regime is holding the whole of Europe hostage by launching military strikes on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
"By directing artillery fire of Kyiv forces at the operating reactors and the nuclear fuel depot at the Zaporozhye plant, the Ukrainians target not only themselves, but the peoples of Russia and Ukraine and are holding hostage all of Europe," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
The ministry added that the Russian side has called the international community for a long time at various levels to strongly condemn the continuous military strikes launched by the Kyiv regime on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the situation, which is becoming increasingly dangerous every day, cannot be ignored, noting that it regularly sends updated information to the International Atomic Energy Agency, which is reflected in the agency's media circulars.
Earlier today, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Ukrainian regime committed a new act of "nuclear terrorism" by attacking the infrastructure facilities of the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye.
