Twenty Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails began waging the battle of the empty intestines in protest of its continuing crimes against the prisoners.
The Palestinian Ma'an News Agency reported that the prisoners began a hunger strike today, denouncing the violations of the occupation, the policy of deliberate medical negligence, and the re-arrest of the Palestinian journalist Nidal Abu Aker, who spent about 18 years in the occupation's prisons.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
