The Palestinians establish facts on the ground and build amusement parks, water parks and event gardens in Gush Etzion • "The Palestinians are celebrating at our expense," says Menesh Shmueli, coordinator of the Youth League of the Regavim movement

The growth in the quality of life of the Palestinians continues to increase, and this is manifested, among other things, in spending time at a water park, in prestigious event gardens and large playgrounds that are built on areas C, areas under Israeli civilian and security control, some of which are funded by the European Union.

In recent months, the "Regavim" movement documented construction and activity in several event gardens and a water park, which were built without supervision on areas adjacent to critical roads.

Several years ago, a bypass road was built around Nabi Elias around the village that carries it there, but shortly after its completion, a Palestinian businessman from Kalkilia began to build a large water park on the C areas, which opened last summer.

The complex, which covers about 15 dunams and stands 200 meters from the road in the heart of Area C, has a large lawn, water pools, and the highlight - water facilities that would not put the Mimedion or Yamit 2000 to shame. A huge parking lot receives buses that bring hundreds of people to the place every week to to enjoy the clear water in the pools that were built illegally.

At the same time, dozens of kilometers south of there, two new event gardens were recently established in Gush Etzion, both at a very short distance from critical roads, and of course on areas under Israeli security and civilian control.

Pools, playgrounds, food truck and high level events, all on Israeli territory.

In the east of Gush Etzion, hundreds of meters from the road that leads from the Israeli settlements to Jerusalem, you can see a row of tall palm trees.

Get to know the "Princess Gardens - Briza".

This is a magnificent event garden that dominates the strategic axis to Jerusalem and is located in an area on which there is a military construction prohibition order.

forbidden?

The Palestinians don't ask anyone.

A drone view from above reveals a splendor that is hard to imagine in the Palestinian world.

Tall palm trees floating in a deep pool, luxurious lawns with facilities for children and a pampering swimming pool are some of the attractions found in the place.

On the other side of Gush Etzion, near the village of El Khader, next to the tunnel road on which tens of thousands of Israeli vehicles travel a day, and a stone's throw from the area where the Minister of Defense approved an outline plan for illegal Palestinian homes, an Arab resident of East Jerusalem recognized the opportunity and built a magnificent event garden.

It is also under a military construction ban order - and to build it damage was done to the archeology at the site.

Another huge playground was built near the Shear Binyamin industrial area, near the settlement of Machmesh.

Swings, merry-go-rounds, a soccer field and a volleyball court, all on state land.

Recently, an axis of nearly a kilometer was paved from the nearby village of Makhams.

control and enforcement

"The Palestinians are celebrating at our expense," says Menesh Shmueli, the coordinator of the youth group in the "Regavim" movement: "We have uncovered another method for the Palestinian takeover of Area C in Judea and Samaria over our lands."

The response of the Unit for Coordination of Government Actions in the Territories: "We will continue to work to maintain public order and planning and construction laws in the Judea and Samaria region."
