About 80,000 Likud officials decided what the party's list for the 25th Knesset would look like, and chose the leader of the faction, Yariv Levin, for first place, after the movement's chairman Benjamin Netanyahu.
Eli Cohen, David Amsalem, Amir Ohana, Yoav Kish and Miki Zohar jumped from lower places to which they were elected in the previous primaries and made it into the top ten.
The first woman in Likud remains Miri Regev, who placed fourth.
Besides her, there are only four women in real positions - Galit Distal in 20th place, attorney Tali Gottlieb in 25th place, Gila Gamaliel in 30th place and Mai Golan in 32nd place. Eti Atia was chosen for 35th place, and 39 - Keti Shetrit. Only three of the top ten are Mizrahim - David Amsalem (5), Miri Regev (9) and Miki Zohar (10).
Several prominent Knesset members were relegated to low places on the list, including Yuli Edelstein, who crashed from second place to 18th place;
Israel Katz dropped from third place to 12th and Chaim Katz from 11th place to 23rd. MK Tzachi Hanegbi was kicked from 13th place to the bottom of the list and did not secure a realistic place, as did Orli Levy-Abacsis, from 26th place in the previous list.
