Olching – The city of Olching is happy about the 13 new barrier-free bus stops that have been built all over the city in the past few weeks.
The new bus stops are served by the Olching city center line 831 and the district line 860.
This means that there are now 24 barrier-free bus stops in Olching throughout the city.
The barrier-free bus stops are equipped, among other things, with a tactile guidance system for people with visual impairments, which can be felt on the ground with a touch stick, for example.
A better visibility of the bus stop is given by the black and white coloring with contrast panels.
The Kasseler board at the edge of the road allows passengers to board and exit the bus at the same level, which is particularly helpful for people with a wheelchair, a walker or a stroller.
