Member of the Board of Directors of the Zaporozhye region Vladimir Rogov announced that the orders to attack the nuclear plant were issued by Washington and London.
"The orders to attack the plant were issued by Britain and the United States, who are overseeing the regime of Vladimir Zelensky, while in fact it is just an outlet," Rogov said, adding that by bombing the nuclear power plant, Zelensky was trying to stop the advance of the forces allied with Russia is blackmailing Europe with a nuclear threat.
Rogov stressed that "it is possible to put an end to this bombing only by liberating Marganets, Nikopol and Tomakovka, the population centers from which the bombing is carried out, as well as by liberating the city of Zaporozhye, the administrative capital of the province," adding: "After the liberation of all Ukrainian lands, we will not know any threat from terrorism."
And the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Mikhail Mezintsev, announced yesterday that units of the 44th Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian forces bombed from the town of Nikopol the Zaporozhye plant, causing partial damage to the equipment of nuclear reactors cooling basins, adding that thanks to the preventive and effective measures taken by the Russian army forces to protect power sites The nuclear plant's vital infrastructure has not been damaged and the reactors have not been disrupted.
The Zaporozhye nuclear power station is located near the city of Energograd and is currently under the control of the Russian army.. In recent days, the Ukrainian forces have deliberately bombed this station and the surrounding area using drones, heavy artillery and rocket launchers.
