In Mexico, the Attorney General's Office (FGR) announced this Sunday that on August 5 it opened an investigation into the events that occurred on the property of the company El Pinabete SA de CV in Sabinas, state of Coahuila, where a month ago 10 workers were trapped in a flooded mine.

The FGR points out in a statement that it has ordered the arrest of three people for the probable commission of the crime foreseen and sanctioned in Article 150 in relation to 149 of the General Law of National Assets.

It indicates that on August 11, it requested a judicial hearing against a person, for his probable responsibility in the acts of direction and administration in the illegal exploitation of the subsoil, which is a property of the Nation.

The FGR alleges that through the El Pinabete mineral coal mine, the company would be failing to comply with the obligations that the law imposes on those who carry out this type of activity.
