In an interview with Current Woman magazine, the host admits to having had cosmetic surgery and denounces the “hypocrisy” which inflicts on women to remain “young and beautiful” naturally without retouching anything.

Karine Le Marchand has no physical complex.

This is what she says in a recent interview with the

current Femme

magazine  : “I fixed what was wrong and I live with the rest”, declares the host in this interview published on September 5, 2022, referring to the plastic surgery operations she underwent.

Indeed, the 50-year-old confirms having gone through the knife box and fully claims it: "I am against this hypocrisy which consists in telling women that they must remain young and beautiful, but without ever doing anything" otherwise it not natural“”, she continues, before revealing: “Me, I had surgery, and I assume it!”.

However, it does not specify the exact practices to which it gave in.

If she admits to being at peace with her body and her image now, the presenter of

Love is in the pre

apprehends aging with lucidity: “Obviously, my skin no longer has as firm as at 25, but I can't do anything about it," she admits.

“I cannot say that I live it with serenity, but I try to live it with wisdom.”

“The image we send back”

With these statements, Karine Le Marchand intends to break the taboo of cosmetic surgery and play down the act.

According to her, “the right time” to take the plunge and push the door of a clinic, “is when you no longer agree with what you see in the mirror”.

For the flagship host of M6, it is therefore not so much a question of wanting to appear younger than her age as of reboosting the self-confidence "of people full of energy, life and desire who are physically worn out and tired. ".

"I think it's disabling on a daily basis not to recognize yourself in the image that you send back," she adds, regretting that some of her colleagues in the television industry refuse to be filmed under certain angles or tuck in the stomach "as soon as you start turning".

And to conclude: "Everyone must do what he wants and do it for himself."
