The historic firefighting squad of the Reithofen-Harthofen fire brigade was once again present at the large traditional costume and riflemen's parade at the Munich Oktoberfest.

- For the third time - after 2018 and 2019 - the historic firefighting group of the Reithofen-Harthofen fire brigade was present at the large costume and riflemen's parade at the Munich Oktoberfest - as one of around 180 groups.
25 members of the military took part, plus five helpers for logistics.
From Maximilianstraße we went through the old town towards Theresienwiese on Sunday.
The firefighters were historically equipped as they were deployed in 1903.
In addition to the fire engine with wooden tires and an attached extension ladder, pulled by two horses by Franz Stanner from Harthofen, this also includes historical uniforms.

Johannes Huber revealed that more and more members are enthusiastic about the historic extinguishing group.
Some had had their uniforms made again, and their helmets had also been polished for days.
The fact that the weather didn't play along was a minor matter, Huber reported after the parade: "The mood was great despite the rain." The firefighters were happy about the many spectators on the streets and also that they went so far at the beginning of the parade this year were allowed.
