Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced today that he had contracted the Corona virus, a few days after his participation in the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
“It was found that I had Covid-19,” Sanchez was quoted by AFP as saying on Twitter, noting that he would continue to work while taking maximum precautions.
Sanchez's injury comes two days after his return from New York, where he participated in the work of the seventy-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly and in the presence of many heads of state and government.
