The survey interviewed 233 male and 18 female lifeguards from August 1 to 12 this year. The survey found that nearly all lifeguards in public places hold a qualified lifeguard badge and a qualified first aid certificate, but only about 50% of lifeguards in private swimming pools hold There is a qualified first aid certificate, and even a lifeguard was hired with only a bronze badge and no qualified first aid certificate.

The survey also found that 9 adults said that their working environment generally reached a maximum temperature of over 33 degrees Celsius, 71.7% said they had symptoms of heat illness during work, and nearly 10% of them had been sent to hospital.

More than 80% of lifeguards in public and private swimming pools face skin problems from direct sunlight and sun exposure every day, but nearly 20% of lifeguards in private swimming pools said that their employers did not provide them with personal protective equipment or supplies to cool down and protect against sun exposure. Its ratio is four times that of public swimming pools and about 16 times that of beaches and water sports centres.
