"Ineligible": The election committee disqualified Shikli's Likud candidacy
The chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Yitzhak Amit, rejected the candidacy of a member of the retiring Yamina, who was supposed to join the Likud. On the other hand, the candidacy of Eidit Silman was confirmed. The Likud on the disqualification: "An absurd decision, this is a serious damage to democracy - we will appeal to the Supreme Court"

On the other hand, the committee approved the candidacy of Idit Silman in the party. The Likud stated: "This absurd decision is a serious violation of democracy - we will appeal to the Supreme ".
