One of the obvious consequences of the war in Ukraine is to have already strengthened the military alliance of the thirty European and American countries of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).
This snub addressed to Putin is the delight of observers.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the economic cooperation of these same countries, to which must be added, in Asia, mainly Japan and South Korea, the whole constituting what is called the "free world".
The expression dates from the Cold War (1945-1990) and it resurfaced as the planet once again tended to split into two blocks: the market-economy democracies on one side and the others, including China and Russia. are the figureheads.
