VW driver lands upside down in the Leitzach

This could have ended even worse.
A VW driver landed head over heels near Geitau in the Leitzach on Thursday.
The forces were able to free him.
It looks like the driver of the car was traveling from Bayrischzell in the direction of Aurach and came off the B 307 to the right at around 1.45 p.m. near Geitau.
The Leitzach flows there just a few meters from the road, and the driver of the car ended up in the water.
Luckily the car came to rest on branches.
Unthinkable if the car had landed directly in the water with the driver trapped.
The emergency services are on site.
Further details are not yet known.
