Münsing – In Ambach am Starnberger See, a dispute between a 48-year-old from Geretsried and a previously unknown e-bike rider escalated on Sunday.
The search is now on for the latter.
The Geretsrieder was driving his car in the recreation area around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday.
To unload his dinghy, he briefly blocked the bike path.

"This annoyed the e-bike riders riding there so much that words were no longer enough," reports the police.
The stranger suddenly hit Geretsrieder in the eye with his fist, damaging his glasses and injuring him.
The e-bike driver then fled in a southerly direction.

He is 50 to 60 years old and about 1.90 meters tall.
He has a slim, athletic build and wears a full gray beard.
He was wearing dark sunglasses and a dark hat.
Anyone who has observed the situation at Lake Starnberg, shortly after the Buchscharner Seewirt, or who can provide information about the e-bike rider, is asked to contact the Wolfratshausen police on telephone 0 81 71/4 21 10.
