Kripo searches nine apartments - political crime

The Berlin criminal police launched a raid early Wednesday morning into politically motivated crimes.
Nine apartments in different Berlin districts were searched, the police said on Twitter.
The police initially did not give the exact reason for the searches.
The procedure was coordinated by state security in the State Criminal Police Office, which is responsible for political extremists and politically motivated crime.
Berlin - More than 60 police officers have been on duty since the morning hours, the police said.
The searched apartments were in Spandau, Moabit, Gesundbrunnen, Prenzlauer Berg, Mariendorf, Köpenick and Hellersdorf.
