Three people were killed and more than 28 others were wounded in a suicide bombing targeting a police patrol in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan today.
Reuters quoted the local police as saying in a statement, "A suicide explosion targeted a police patrol that was guarding the polio vaccination team in the city of Quetta in the region, killing three people and injuring more than 28 others, including 15 policemen."
The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing.
