Dismissed by the courts and the Council of State, the opponents of the project to renovate the surroundings and the Gare d'Austerlitz, in Paris (13th century), showed this Saturday that they are not in resignation: boulevard de l hospital, a sheet metal palisade separating them from the huge wasteland where a 300 m "wall" is to grow, in reality a long concrete building intended to house a shopping center, a luxury hotel, 50,000 m² of offices and 140 social housing units, local residents and associations played the song and brought pots and cuttings to “plant the first flower in the garden of Austerlitz”.
"We don't want a wall, we want a garden!"
they insist.
