Many drinks are real calorie bombs.

Which drinks you should better do without, not only on a diet.

1 / 10Although coffee doesn't actually contain any calories, one of the most common calorie traps are drinks with coffee.

There are a large number of calories in cappuccino, latte macchiato and iced coffee - especially if they are refined with whole milk, cream and sugar.

2 / 10Regardless of whether it is fruit juice or fruit juice spritzer: juices are almost as badly suited to losing weight as soft drinks.

A glass of fruit juice has the same number of calories as a glass of cola.

3 / 10 Fruit and vegetable smoothies contain a lot of vitamins.

But ready-made smoothies from the supermarket are often full of hidden calories.

The reason for this: In addition to the natural sweetness from the fruit, additional sugar is usually added to the smoothies.

4 / 10Soft drinks like cola and lemonade are full of sugar.

A glass usually contains around 23 to 26 grams of sugar and thus around 100 calories.

Light and zero drinks have a lower sugar content.

If you choose a light version instead of lemonade and the like, you can still gain weight.

Because the sweetener it contains signals the body to take in calories, and the blood sugar level shoots up.

If this is permanently high, it can lead to obesity.

7 / 10Anyone who wants to lose weight should definitely avoid the occasional glass of wine or beer in the evening.

The alcohol contained quickly hits the hips with a large number of calories and fat.

8 / 10Almost all instant ice teas contain a lot of sugar.

If you want to lose weight, you should therefore prepare your own tea and avoid artificial sweeteners.

9 / 10While many athletes swear by special fitness and sports drinks with electrolytes, nutrition experts recommend sticking with classic water after exertion.

10 / 10Buttermilk and drinking yoghurt are said to help with weight loss and strengthen the immune system.

The role of drinks in weight loss is often underestimated.

Making small lifestyle changes can save a lot of calories.

A glass of water before a meal can curb hunger, for example, because this fills the stomach a little.
