British researchers discovered components from the West in two missiles that landed in Kiev last month. • One of the missiles was assembled in the summer, the other was completed in September.

Two of the missiles launched by Russia towards Kyiv in the last month contained Western components - despite the sanctions imposed on Moscow since the beginning of the war.

According to a report by a group of British researchers, quoted in the "New York Times", one of the Kh-101 missiles was assembled during the summer, and the other was completed last September. The British researchers from Conflict Armament Research visited Kiev and closely examined the remains of the missiles.

According to the researchers, this means that Moscow found a way to circumvent the sanctions or that it collected components before the invasion began.

If Russia found a way to bypass the sanctions, the question that arises is how many components did it get and from whom, since those who bypass the Western sanctions risk secondary sanctions.

At the same time, the "Wall Street Journal" is reporting this evening that the US has secretly limited the HIMARS launchers so that it will not be possible for Ukraine to use them to damage Russian territory. Thus, according to the newspaper, the administration is trying to avoid an escalation in the war.

This is an adjustment made to the rocket artillery launchers that helped Ukraine hit headquarters and ammunition and weapon depots deep in the Russian rear in the occupied territories.

Ukraine has been asking for a long time to receive ATACMS rockets from the US, which have a range of 300 km, in order to significantly damage the Russian forces.

Bombers at Engels base near Saratov (today),

In the meantime, Russia admitted this evening - 12 hours after the events - that Ukrainian drones attacked two airports deep in Russia. According to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, little damage was caused to the planes, but three soldiers were killed. Reminder: today (Monday) morning there was an explosion at the base Diaghilev in the Ryazan province (about 500 km from the Ukrainian border) and the Engels-1 base near Saratov (about 750 km from the border). At the Engels-1 base there were Tu-95 strategic bombers. Two of them were apparently hit. The other base was hit The drone in a fuel tank.

In Russia, there was criticism of the fact that Ukrainian aircraft were able to fly hundreds of kilometers in the Russian sky without being intercepted.
