The center revealed that it had succeeded in resolving 10,179 “amicable reconciliation” cases, for cases amounting to about 282.8 million dirhams, while the average period of reconciliation in dispute cases reached five days.

The head of the Rental Dispute Settlement Center, Judge Abdul Qadir Musa, said: “The center has taken upon itself to strengthen and develop the judicial system in the real estate sector, based on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has always emphasized that Justice is the basis of governance and the happiness of the members of society.

He added, "We worked diligently and tirelessly with our qualified national cadres, and harnessed all our material resources, especially technology, to chart a strategic path that defines the features of the future of litigation, which is fully consistent with the visions and directions of the Emirate of Dubai in consolidating its position on the regional and global arena, as a first real estate destination for investors."

Judge Musa expressed his pride in developing the world's first smart judicial rental system available to litigants, whether they are inside or outside the country.

According to the center, the number of registered lawsuits since its inception has reached 103,975 rental lawsuits, divided between 92,732 first instance lawsuits, and 11,243 appeal lawsuits, of which 100,000 lawsuits have been settled, at a rate of 96% of the number of cases registered for the center.

Judge Musa also referred to the “rental status sheet” that was launched in 2018, and it is a service that enables the parties to the lease contract to inquire about the rental sheet of the other party in the Dispute Resolution Center system.

He revealed that the "judicial probe", which is considered the first of its kind in the world, and is being prepared to be launched soon, will constitute a quantum leap and a new stage in the "remote litigation" system, as it is an innovative concept for the future of litigation, where judicial rulings are issued through the employment of artificial intelligence, which can Litigants to obtain judgments without human intervention.
