Officials in Likud estimate that Binyamin Netanyahu's "Ala Bidi" announcement will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The next day, temporary Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin will bring the announcement to the Knesset and within a week the formation of the government will be announced.
Initially, estimates said that the announcement would come as soon as tomorrow (Tuesday), but apparently the designated Prime Minister will take all the time he has left. The deadline for swearing in the government is next Wednesday, December 27.
As published yesterday in "Israel Hayom" the negotiations with the partnership have ended except for small and marginal details.
The assessment among the parties is that Netanyahu is waiting for the last moment in order to postpone the division of roles in his party until the last moment, to push them into a corner and prevent those waiting who are not satisfied with their role from a possible rebellion.
