The city of kyiv was attacked by drones on Monday morning, the military administration of the capital said, urging the population to be ready to take shelter.
"The enemy is attacking the capital," the administration wrote on Telegram.
At this point, nine "enemy" drones have already been shot down in Kyiv airspace, she added.

War-weary Ukrainian Jews gathered in prayers and candlelight vigils on Sunday to launch Hanukkah, the “Festival of Lights,” vowing to defy the blackouts caused by persistent Russian bombardment.
In Kyiv's famous Independence Square, also known as Maidan, worshipers huddled together for warmth near what authorities say is the world's largest menorah (a nine-branched candelabra) Hanukkah in Europe.
The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv, Moshe Reuven Azman, told AFP that the story behind the winter festival held "valuable lessons" for Ukraine in its resistance to continued Russian attacks.

Ammunition delivered by London
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is due to announce the delivery of a large quantity of artillery ammunition to Ukraine today during a meeting with leaders from Northern Europe, the Baltics and the Netherlands in Latvia.
London has shown the way by "providing defensive aid to Ukraine, including sending multiple rocket launchers and, recently, 125 anti-aircraft guns", the prime minister's office continued.
