Aleppo celebrates the sixth anniversary of its liberation from terrorism

Aleppo, SANA - The governorate of Aleppo held this evening a celebration of the sixth anniversary of its liberation from terrorism, under the title (Our Victory is a Mile).

Aleppo Governorate held this evening a celebration of the sixth anniversary of its liberation from terrorism, titled (Our Victory is Milad), at the Artists Syndicate Theater, which included artistic performances, a documentary film about the city's liberation, a film about the late poet Safouh Shaghala, and honoring his family.

In his speech, the Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, indicated the importance of the victory that was achieved with the blood of the martyrs and the battles of pride and honor for the men of the Syrian Arab Army who defeated terrorism and struggled for life and freedom to transcend, praising the steadfastness of the people of the city who stood united with the heroes of the army and were patient and confronted terrorism so that Aleppo would be victorious and time would turn into history.

The governor referred to the great cultural legacy left by the late poet and writer Safouh Shaghala, who made continuous efforts to accomplish this ceremony days before his death.

The Circassian Charitable Society troupe presented a dance show of ancient Circassian folklore, the Shahba Stars troupe presented a short theatrical segment dealing with patriotism and adherence to it, and the Karni dance theater troupe performed several artistic segments.

The ceremony was attended by Ahmed Mansour, Secretary of the Aleppo Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party.
