The house on the Hirschbuckel in the lower Königstrasse in Stuttgart is demolished.
As a result, the "Roxy" club, which many Stuttgart residents fondly remember, will also disappear.
Stuttgart - A large part of Stuttgart's nightlife has been taking place in the building on Hirschbuckel below Königsstraße for many years.
It all started in the 1980s with the AT Podium City before becoming "Roxy - Musik in Stuttgart" in 1986.
Since 1997 the "Roxy" has become the "ToY".
But the demolition of the house in the city center is getting closer, as BW24 writes.

As a result, the popular FrittyBar in Stuttgart had to close in June, which caused great sadness in the state capital.
After all, the snack bar was one of the few in the city center that provided its guests with food throughout the night.
Now the next company says goodbye - but not without celebrating one last big party.
“My youth”: Stuttgart residents mourn the closure of the “Roxy” cult club
Many still like to remember the dance evenings at "Roxy" or the strange names of the drinks, such as "U-Boot" or "Oilfoot".
One or the other will certainly have a glass as a souvenir from the cult club at home.
On December 22, the good old days could be revived when the nightclub in Stuttgart celebrated its farewell party.
Under the motto: "Come in everyone, dance the last dance!" the "Roxy" said goodbye to its guests.
In view of the closure of the disco, the people of Stuttgart mourn online and reminisce.
"Oh no... my old living room is being demolished," comments a Facebook user, for example.
"Yes, it's a pity, we've already celebrated one or the other crash in there", "So many beautiful memories experienced there" or "The Stuttgart of my youth is crumbling", write others.
"My husband and I also met at the Roxy," recalls one user.
"What a great time it was," comments one user.
"It's a shame about the city, which is once again losing a piece of its memory," mourns another.
Cult club in Stuttgart gives way to shops, offices and medical practices
As much as the Stuttgarters regret the losses of FrittyBar and "Roxy", the demolition of the Hirschbuckel building can no longer be prevented.
The house, which architect Paul Stohrer once built, now belongs to Investment AG Stinag.
The company considers modernization to be urgently needed.
So far, shops, offices and medical practices have been planned for the new building, as the
Stuttgarter Zeitung (StZ)
reports.
It is currently not known whether a catering business or a club will return to the building.
However, many Stuttgarters would certainly wish for it.
