According to the report of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis), the firefighters extracted a 39-year-old woman from the apartment.
She did not survive the fire and was declared deceased.
An open investigation
His son, aged 12, was able to survive.
He had managed to get out of the apartment before help arrived.
He was taken care of and transported to the pediatric emergency room.
He should be heard later as part of the investigation to determine the cause and circumstances of this fire.
A total of 25 firefighters were mobilized to put out the flames.
For this they used a spear.
The fire did not spread to the other apartments in this HLM building.
Nevertheless, two people were slightly poisoned by the fumes.
One of them was transported to the Nantes University Hospital.
