New Year's baby Moritz Barth weighed 3,315 grams and was 51 centimeters tall when he was born.

Schongau – He is the very first baby to see the light of day in the Schongau hospital in the new year 2023: Little Moritz Barth was born on January 1st at 9:45 p.m.
After two and a half hours, the time had come: with the support of midwife Daniela Schregle, he was there, weighing 3,315 grams and measuring 51 centimeters.
Moritz is the second child of Patrizia and Florian Barth.
His older sister Ella is proud of her little sibling.
In 2022, a total of 522 children were born in Schongau Hospital.
This number is significantly smaller than that of 2021;
at that time there were 301 girls and 320 boys.
