Woman stabs roommate with knife – and then reports to the police

At the beginning of the week, a caller called the police in the middle of the night and said she had stabbed her roommate with a knife (symbol image).

A violent act of blood took place in the night from Monday to Tuesday in an East Allgäu apartment.

A woman stabbed her roommate.

Pforzen – In the night from Monday, January 2nd to Tuesday, January 3rd, a woman reported to the police at around 12:30 a.m.

She told the officer that she "just stabbed her roommate with a knife," the police press release said.

Police officers immediately went to the given address in Pforzen, district of Ostallgäu.

When the officers arrived at the apartment, they found the 51-year-old suspect there and arrested her without resistance.

They also met the injured 47-year-old in front of the apartment.

She was admitted to a hospital.

According to the police, the prosecutor on duty at the Kempten public prosecutor's office subsequently classified the act as attempted homicide.

On site, the permanent criminal service of the Memmingen criminal police took over the first investigations.

"Further investigations are being conducted by the Kaufbeuren police department under the direction of the Kempten public prosecutor's office," the police said.

According to the police, the suspected woman and the woman injured with the knife lived together in a shared apartment.

At the request of the public prosecutor, the 51-year-old was brought before the investigating judge at the Memmingen District Court on Tuesday.

"Due to the urgent suspicion of attempted murder and the suspect's mental state, the latter ordered the accused to be temporarily accommodated in a specialist clinic as requested," the police wrote in their press release.
