After the dismantling of a large network of drug traffickers, the public prosecutor of Limoges, Baptiste Porcher, wishes to underline the meticulousness of the gendarmes of Haute-Vienne.
Eight months of investigation culminated in this night of January 11 to 12, 2023.
Informed of a convoy of drugs the day before, the Haute-Vienne Gendarmerie decides to track him down.
The vehicle was first spotted from Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), before being neutralized at the Gignac toll on the A20, with the support of the GIGN.
Simultaneously, the gendarmes carry out targeted searches and arrests in Limoges.
80 soldiers, assisted by the police, are then mobilized.

In the early morning, 128 kilos of cannabis resin, 9 kilos of grass, 15,000 in cash, eight cars estimated at 98,000 euros, 10,500 euros in bank assets and 7,500 euros in equipment were seized.
Six individuals aged 25 to 16 are arrested.
Four of them, including the minor, are in a state of recidivism for these facts.
All but one already have a criminal record.
They face 10 years in prison, or even 20 for repeat offenders, according to the Limoges prosecutor's office, which requested their placement in pre-trial detention.
The five adults will be brought to justice on Monday.
The minor will appear in a single hearing, in accordance with the law.
