At the annual reception of the SPD Holzkirchen, the comrades got involved in the district and state election year.

A number of very loyal members were also honored.

Holzkirchen

- "It's good to finally be able to welcome you all back to the annual reception after a Corona break of more than two years": With these words, local chairman Tim Roll opened the SPD annual reception in Holzkirchen in the Gasthof Oberbräu.

Around 30 comrades came together on Friday evening and got in the mood for the 2023 election year, as the SPD local association announced.

In his greeting, local councilor Simon Ammer said he was pleased that at some point there would finally be a majority for issues that the SPD had been pushing for years - such as a car-free marketplace, the consistent implementation of the traffic concept or the expansion of childcare and communal housing market council give.

"It seems that we always have to wait a CSU decade here until certain parties see that the ideas and concepts of the SPD make Holzkirchen better and advance it."

With an entertaining slide show, Martin Erhard recalled the district visit of the former Bavarian Prime Minister of the SPD, Wilhelm Hoegner, in 1977 before the awards were presented.

Hannes Gräbner was honored for 40 years of SPD membership.

He was an SPD city councilor in Munich, chairman of the SPD in Holzkirchen and in the district of Miesbach, and a candidate for the Bundestag several times.

Christa Preißinger, Brunhilde Eisfeld, Karl Heinz Eisfeld and Erich Burgert were honored for 50 years of SPD membership.

Brunhilde Eisfeld was a member of the Hausham municipal council for the SPD for many years, and Karl Heinz Eisfeld was managing director of the adult education center in Ottobrunn and the adult education center South East.

Burgert was head of the local union cartel for many years and is a former member of the Holzkirchner municipal council.

Speeches by the district and state parliament candidates

Finally, Robert Kühn, district parliament candidate and mayor of Bad Wiessee, and state parliament candidate Bruno Peetroons spoke.

Kühn emphasized that the much-cited tradition and homeland in the district of Miesbach could only be preserved with a social component, and that was the core of the SPD brand.

He wants to work in the district to ensure that the district can be a home for everyone and not just for people with a large purse.

Bruno Peetroons got the comrades in the mood for a courageous election campaign.

The expansion of affordable housing and renewable energies as well as breaking the investment backlog in the health sector are at the top of his agenda.

"We simply cannot afford another five years of the CSU," said Peetroons.

"I want a policy that really takes care of the people, doesn't manage money from mask deals in their own pockets and only distributes offices." Long applause gave the two candidates backing.
