Several emergency numbers were affected by outages in some French departments.
The operator Orange announced on Twitter that
“fixed and mobile calls to emergency services (15,18,112) were disrupted everywhere in France”
on Tuesday afternoon.
Civil security had also recommended that the French keep themselves informed of the situation
“via the accounts of the prefectures and SDIS”
which informed of the instructions to follow.

Only 40% of calls ended on Tuesday afternoon, Orange also indicated.
The operator finally announced at the end of the afternoon that
"the routing of emergency numbers had been operational again since 4:45 p.m."

Orange services, however, remain
“vigilant”
and apologized
“for the inconvenience caused”.
