The General Corporation for Drinking Water in Daraa announced that it will carry out maintenance work on the Al-Ashari pumping project, for a period of two days.
And the deputy director of the institution, Eng. Osama Al-Qadri, stated that the pumping of water from the project to the population centers that feed it will be stopped in order to carry out emergency maintenance for the pumps and the payment line, pointing out that the maintenance will continue until the end of next Saturday.
It is noteworthy that the Daraa Water Corporation is conducting periodic maintenance of the payment line of the Al-Ash'ari project, as it is constantly exposed to encroachments with the aim of diverting drinking water to irrigate various agricultural crops.
